What is a laser nozzle?
A laser nozzle is primarily used to control the focusing and transmission of the laser beam and the precise injection of auxiliary gas flow, enabling efficient material cutting, marking, or welding processes.
Airflow guiding and assisted cutting
A tapered hole design guides high-speed airflow, precisely directing auxiliary gas (such as oxygen) to the cutting point, promoting oxidation of the material and removing slag, ensuring a clean cut. Optimizing airflow distribution reduces melt adhesion, improving cutting accuracy and speed.
Protecting the optical system
Preventing high-energy laser light from straying from the cutting head and damaging the internal mirrors, while maintaining a constant distance between the laser head and the workpiece by collecting capacitance signals.
Improving cutting quality
Coaxiality (error ≤ 0.03mm) directly impacts cross-section quality: Insufficient coaxiality when cutting thick plates can result in uneven melt flow or even cut failure.
Mainly made of red copper/chrome- plated copper, it offers excellent thermal conductivity.
